Found this cut pipe while doing drive belt and crank pulley job. Any ideas what it is for?

A/c maybe? (It's a bit hard to tell without seeing more of the area).

It'd help if you post model, engine, year and so on so somebody with a similar car can advise.

It looks a bit big for a/c to me, although looking in Service Box there's two freon tubes (if I have the right diagram) side by side there, and one's big & one's small (flow & return?) Has the car got a/c and does it work?

They do look more like a/c pipes.

Just had a look on mine, which is a HDI 110, so will probably be different and the only remotely similar pipes are for the power steering. So I'm wondering if it's had a leak and someone has ''adapted'' it?
Does anything like A/C or the power steering not work?

Here's my guess: ac gas pipework.
But where the hell has the rest of it gone?

Thank's for the reply guys! Looks like they are infact a/c pipes, that will probably be why I have an a/c fault on planet. Power steering works fine thank god lol
