2.2 hdi injectors removal

Just a quick question can you remove the injectors from the 2.2 hdi without it dammageing ecu like the 2ltr 8v or are they same as the 407 1.6 hdi where you have to tell.the car your removing the injectors because i want to remove the injector tips and fit new ones
