coolant bleeding

hi and hello everyone im keeef in westonsupermare ,ive bought a 406 2.1 td 1998 estate and have had everything done but cant find the coolant bellding nipple/bolt/screw ,please can someone help the car is getting hotish in traffic but only to 3/4 then the fan knocks it down ,i recently flushed the system but cant see how to bleed it ,yeah i know waffle waffle ha ! ITS DOING MY HEAD IN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi and welcome!
The first thing to say is that if the fan is coming on and reducing the temperature you shouldn't need to bleed the system as everything seems to working....anyway.....
There is a plastic screw on cap (like a tyre valve cover) on the heater pipe at the back of the engine compartment where the heater pipe enters the car interior...fill up your water tank and undo the bleed cap then run the engine until only water floods out.
It bleeds better if you have the radiator higher than the heater pipe.
Some people advise fitting a bottle onto the filler tank, but I've never had to do that.

Greetings from a fellow North Somersetian.
I remember my 2.1 also got hot quickly in traffic but fans knocked it down quickly.
