Dipstick popping out

I noticed the weekend before last while just checking levels etc that the dipstick has popped out a bit.I shoved it back in and thought no more of it,however I did a couple of hundred miles and it had popped out again a bit.Where are the engine breathers on a hdi 110?

i've heard that the engine cover vibration can cause the dipstick to pop out, mine was doing it so i got another one from the dealer for about £11.00. mine seems ok so far, i don't have any idea where the breathers are though.

+1 If you're in any doubt, leave the acoustic cover off for a week & see if the dipstick stays put.

Spot on guys,just been out to the car and 2 pillars were broken.Took the cover off and 100 mile run later and the dipstick stayed put.
