Injector Flow Correction? New Injectors

So, if we look at my last post we can see the problem
- Rough Idle
- Chugging from Exhaust
- Poorer Economy
So I've replaced injector 2 and 3 (middle ones?) with some known good injectors that were pop tested out of a C5 2.2HDI (4HX) so engine, same part number as the originals but with 3s on them rather than 1s near the electrical connection.
The flow correction is still bad... +5 on injector three.
The car now runs significantly better, although not perfect. More power and a smoother idle, but still a vibration at idle.
Have I replaced the wrong injector? I notice injector 4 now reads -0.08 which is very good.

I'm a bit confused, that's the same screen dump as before, isn't it?
If you've got all 4 injectors from the C5, why not fit them - ideally you need the same 'grade', i.e. all 1's, 2's or 3's, then set them accordingly in PP2000, which, (I believe), will cause your ecu to re-learn their characteristics.
If need be, you can always swap them around until you prove conclusively if you have one or two bad ones. A leak-off test might also help you pinpoint the problem(s).

Which last post? A link would be good, carrying on without starting another thread better. Or you could start another thread every time you want to post anything...
And, while I'm being Mr- bloody pedantic, you did realise PSA number their cylinders from the flywheel end didn't you?

So if we're being pedantic.
Cylinder 2 and 3 where the "fault is" would still be the middle two which ever end you look at it.
Unless they're decided in their infinite wisdom to label them 1-3-4-2 as in firing order but what wouldn't make too much sense.
If injector 2 and 3 are at fault surely it's the middle two?

Oh yer

(Way past my bedtime) Actually, now I come to think of it, Highlander had some weird numbering issues on his coil packs on his 2.2 (petrol), turns out they were indeed labelled on PP in the firing order, rather than which cylinder they did. I guess that would actually make injector no.3, umm, cylinder number 4

I'd say it's a safe bet that 2 & 3 are in the middle, but it's equally possible those two are OK and the others are causing the problem.

Never make assumptions about the sanity (or sobriety!) of PSA designers. If they can do something differently, there's a good chance they will... just because.

If you unplug the wiring to an individual injector presumably that would flag which one it was in planet????
A bit time consuming but if it works you could use that method to positively identify which is which. We could discuss it at great length but as we all know the numbering order could change due to RPO or whether the engineer got lucky the night before and everything in the middle!!!
Alternatively just swap the other 2 injectors for the C5 ones and see if it cures/changes anything.
