new clutch

hi all
just fitted a new clutch on my 2.0 hdi 110 due to slipping, changed it for a solid flywheel but the clutch pedal bite is still very high (at the top) is this ok as there is not ajustment does not slip any more so working fine just wondered why it is still so high and if this is normal?

D9 clutches do bite very high, I suspect quite a few have been changed unnecessarily over the years.
The bite in the other half's 307 is the same
