conversion to solid flywheel

I have a Peugeot 406 110 HDI on a Y plate the car has done 170,000 miles and since I have had it never let me down although I have started to notice some issues. like the steering going intermittently stiff I was told this could be air in the system and turned the wheel several times full to the left then the right and touch wood this seems to have cured the issue. I have also noticed that some times when I brake it shudders so thinking may be a ABS sensor playing up?. Anyway to the point I have now lost the clutch and when taking apart the release bearing has broken up. I really need to keep the car on the road for a little longer as I am using it to put a trailer whilst doing a house extension. With all the above in mind I want to get it back up and running with minimum cost as I am not sure how long it has left. I think my cheapest option is to get a second hand solid flywheel from the breakers at £25 and then a clutch kit for about £70 but I am not sure if it is as easy as just changing the flywheel as I did my sons HPI90 clutch a couple of weeks ago and his release bearing and fork looked completely different to mine. his slave cylinder was on the front of the box and mine is the on the top and twist to release.
Can any one advise on what issues I may have or additional work that would be required to change this over?
