I think i might have said i changed fuel filter last week, when it was actually the oil filter air filter cabin etc.
However i did the fuel filter today, got the old one out and cleaned out the enclosure, refitted and connected the pipes back up , hand pumped the primer for quite a while while the pipes ran clear of bubbles, and on turning over it just does that, turns over and over and over, i checked back under and a bubble re appeared, i checked all fittings and doubled checked the screw top was nice and tight and re primed it again, after turning it over again for sometime, i had a splutter or 2 and then just turnining over again, still wont start up and battery started draining, got it back on charge now but is it just a drained battery or something more? i was fine before i was changing it and my dads giving me evil stairs as i type....
Help please!

Re: Fuel and starting up problem
Take off the outlet pipe and pump the bulb until diesel squirts out.then refit the pipe and start up.
If you are having trouble getting diesel out put your thumb over the outlet pipe whilst you press the bulb and then let the air out before replacing your thumb....repeat as required.
It helps with bleeding if the filter is lower than the fuel tank.

Thanks, I got a spray of diesel in the face, but it worked
The drain screw white thing under the filter housing, one small turn and it sheared off though, I pluged it with a steel bolt with some stretched silicone tape wrapped around the bolt as a tempory measure, any idea wherea good fit can be sourced?

Re: Fuel and starting up problem
I have an old filter housing in my van, if you PM your address I'll send the screw on to you.
