Hi, just bought myself an old 2001 406 estate 169000 on the clock one owner, well serviced, drives like a dream, well chuffed.
But ...... It was sold to me and is on the logbook as a 90 but today noticed the sticker between the doors on the pillar saying 110.
is there any way of knowing for sure because it is insured as per the dvla logbook which is a 90.
Thanks for any help.

Simplest way is
110 = intercooler
90 = no intercooler

The road tax will be cheaper on the 110 strangely enough as the CO2 is lower.

Strange for the sticker to say 110 unless its had a declared engine swap maybe? Check next to the radiator for an intercooler.

ServiceBox wouldn't know about an engine swap. The vehicle with that VIN definitely left the factory with a HDi 90...

The 110 has two air pipes running across the top of the engine on the battery side, the 90 only 0ne.
