Best place for a remap?

Post by Sagwala »

I have had a lot of remaps over the years using power boxes, superchips etc etc.

With my 2.2 is this an option route I have to go down and if so what is general opinion as to the best way to go about it ie plug in boxes or Ecu remapping in other words software or hardware?

Not that I Am not thoroughly impressed with the engine but I tow and torque more than power for me is always a Brucey bonus.

Any advice and/or recommendations would be appreciated. Trev.

There are a couple of maps floating around the forum, but you really need to remove the FAP to get the full benefit.

I am currently saving my hard earned money to put towards a Professional Map from EcuEdit, they have been used many times on the 2.2Hdi coupes with cracking results - although my generic 200 map is enough to give newer diesels the willies..
