hi im new to the forum i hav a hdi 406 90bhp 03 plate today i have fitted a thermostat and engine temp sensor but it keeps coming up engine stop light over heating can some one please help me ive only had the car just over a week thank you

This seems to have been in the queue a couple of days, crammed into another (inappropriate) thread so I've moved it to its own thread in the hope that the poster carries on from here (Forum newby alert :shock: )

I somehow got a pm from the user 2 days back that i could only read through E-mail...Seemed genuine enough though

Does it give any sign of overheating other than the warning light?

Have you purged all the air out via the bleed screws?

Do these have 2 sensors, one on the expansion tank and one on the engine?
