Hi,
Sorry if I misplaced this topic, I am new here.
I have a 2.2 diesel (2001.08) and noticed clicking noise when pushing and also when releasing the accelerator. It is not a permament symphtom, but I am not sure what is causing it, and what is more important don't even now, where to look for the answer. The clicking noise is like the same when the blades are in automatic mode and the rain indicator initiates them. But I am sure that it has nothing to do with it, only the noise is similar.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Daniel

This simply indicates that the engine management systems would like to regenerate the dpf.
Around 5 mins at something like 3000 rpm will clear it.

Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.
