Could this fault on planet be pointing to faulty maf ?
I have taken a screenshot of the data collected when the fault appeared. I considered replacing the maf but would like to better understand if any of the data points to something else else causing the fault. The car is a 206 2.0 hdi 90

I don't think so.
A faulty MAF will typically give a high reading on tickover, or not change, (enough), with engine speed and boost.
Do you have any engine ecu faults logged? If you haven't already done so, clear them, take it for a drive and see if any return.
Sometimes, a car with a fauly MAF, will run better with it uplugged.....

P0401 was the only other one logged, it has not came back after being cleared yesterday but I have seen that fault appear a few times along with p0101

What's the full description you get when reading the ecu faults with planet, (rather than just the code numbers)?

The option above the one you have highlighted in your pic, "associated variables", normally gives a fuller description.
I'll see if I can find an example.....

Re: Could this fault on planet be pointing to faulty maf ?
Thanks for the reply guys I cleared the codes last month and have done another scan today and the following faults have appeared in this order.
Permanent fault. Air flowmeter signal. Air flow too low coherence P101.
Intermittent fault. EGR air circuit fault. Airflow measured less than reccomended P0401
