EW10J4S head in EW10J4

Would it be fair to put the head of EW10J4S instead EW10J4?
And would I get something on it?

Looks like it'll go on but there are a lot of differences - crankcase, pistons and, above all, the ecu. The J4S has variable valve timing which the J4 ecu won't support and, without it, you'd be wasting your time.
