I have standard 205 x 55 x 16 tyres on 6.5 J rims , can I fit 225 x 50 x 16 or is it a step to far !!

houldn't be a problem I had 225/45 tyres on 18 inch rims and didnt have any trouble

thanks for the info, Looked in at the tyre shop ......... they are big!
