I have a 406 HDI 110 Executive Estate on x-reg.
No4 cylinder has no compression, do I strip down the engine to find the fault and repair, or replace engine, or scrap/sell for parts?
Any help/advise in this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.

Given how cheap these are to buy now, your best bet is probably going to be finding a good runner, regardless of model, swapping over the best of the exec bits and breaking the rest.
Memory seats are a bitch to transfer, cruise control can be difficult, but the rest is pretty simple.

They have a separate ECU, and you would need the loom complete with electric folding mirrors too....
I put levvers in my GLX but I cheated and bypassed the ECU/memory...

I'm not sure if leathers from a D8 are the same as a D9 though.

Thanks Ginger , mine is a D9 and I'm pretty sure the ones I'm looking at are out of a D9 .
