I had 50 degrees in December!! It was a faulty ambient temperature sensor. Its located in the passenger side door mirror housing, its just little black box with a little bump that sticks out of the bottom. It is a simple thing to replace, just take the door mirror off and cut the old one sensor. Got a replacement from Peugeot for £11 and soldered it in and bingo. Just be very careful when getting the mirror glass out. I found it chips really easy whilst trying to prise the retaining clip off. Hope this helps.
