Big mistake

Well I had the worst scare of my life. Does anybody remember the 2010 Lexus/Toyota unintended acceleration drama? I had one myself yesterday when driving home from work. The drive is about 1 hour on the motorway and using the cruise control makes it so much easier, I therefore set it to 120km/h or about 65mph and forgot about it, I then moved my leg up and hit the cruise control leaver, the car shot up to 140km/h and being a auto it downshifted and was really moving, I pushed on the brake and the car stopped, I then realized that the damn cruise control was on. I feel like the biggest idiot [emoji3][emoji28] Luckily no one else was on the road.

I did something similar myself, I'd previously set cruise on a motorway journey then later on when approaching a speed camera in a 30, downshifted to third and hit the memory button instead of the set button. Damn thing took off like a rocket!!!
