Needle lift injector (aka control injector) ref. number

Hi Ladies & Gents

I have a 1998 406 2.1TD Executive manual.

It's been faltering and engine rattling for some time, and so today I had it in to an injection specialist.

They have diagnosed the needle lift injector (aka the control injector) has had it - apparently it's identifiable as the only injector with a wire going to it.

Apart from the unknown cost of the new injector - they estimate approx. £200, they wanted to charge me 2.5 hours @£69/hour to take the injector out just to read the make and model number!

So, does anyone happen to know what this injector make and reference number should be, based on the following info:

Reg. S523 NLT
VIN/Chassis/Frame no. VF38BP8CE80657186
Engine no. DAAB6010733

Also, does anyone know a good source/supplier of injectors, and what it might cost (not bought through a specialist)?
