Probably irrelevant but I got the 'Anti pollution fault' when I tried to adjust out throttle dead spot by moving throttle cable clip.

"antipolution fault" or "engine antipolution system defective" is a generic error message that's caused by dozens of different problems.
To work out what's going on you need to get the fault codes read, ideally using Peugeot Planet 200o software.
According to the
fault code list:
P0230: Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction
P1112: Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent Low Voltage
I'm afraid these don't ring any bells for me.
Taking up too much slack on the TPS does indeed cause this message; I think it's because the ECU is expecting the tps to report value zero but with too much slack taken up the value doesn't quite get down to zero.
And hi & welcome to davee

p0230 is the fuelpumprelay. Most likely the fuelpump in the tank. P1112 is also fuelrelated if Im not mistaken it is to low railpressure.
You need to check the pump in the tank. It is really a bitch to get out. With a LOT of fidling it is possible. It is under the backseat.

Does anyone know if the Fuel Pump pressure Regulating Valve attached to the HP Fuel Pump on my 406Hdi 110 Rapier 2003 is cleanable/repairable.
Also is the Fuel Pressure Sensor cleanable/repairable of do I have to get a new one. Is it located at the right end of the fuel rail as you look into the engine?
I have the following fault codes
P0571
P0230
P1112
Any help would be appreciated

Yes you can clean it, the o-ring on it is easy to damage.
You can get repair kit's on ebay.
You need to soak the tip in acetone for one hour min & blow it off with compressed air, there's a tutorial on you tube.
The repair kit's about £15 on ebay or you can buy a new valves on ebay for about £70.
It's bolted to the high pressure pump, you need to remove the fuel filter assembly to access it.

Thank you for your help, I will let you know how I get on.
Do you know any 406 members who live near Waterlooville in Hampshire who may be able to help?
Grateful

If you have Facebook, try the 406 owners club and search for Kris B.
He is Horsham based and is a French Car specialist - and a really nice man.
If you have problems finding him I can pass on your details if you like.

Have looked on ebay/amazon and everywhere else but cannot find the repair kit or a new valve. Am at my wits end.
Photographed data on original on car and tried scrapyard
Found suitable car but data is different although it looks the same

Have a lookie here..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-406-2 ... SwuTxV8zh8
Its cheaper to go to Peugeot and buy the parts separately but for convenience this will do.
