Hi. I recently made a swap 2L (2000) to DW12 HDI 2l.
Everything went in perfect, it even started with no problems.
But, It has a loss of power, at missing at the times, What could it be?
Could it be because its running on DW10 ECU ?

Re: DW10 to DW12
Do you mean you've swapped a DW10 2.0 hdi with a DW12 2.2 hdi 16v and your running it on the original DW10 2.0 hdi
ecu & your having running problems
.
Please ignore the above if I read your post wrong, if not get in touch with HDI tunning (Steve's the man with HDI's),
To me there's so much that could be wrong ie the DW12 has a variable vane turbo the DW10 does not
Please keep us posted, I'd like to know how you get on.
P.S welcome to the forum, all the best DDD

Hi & welcome aboard.
I was wondering the same thing as ddd - is it a 2.2 you've fitted?

Re: DW10 to DW12
Hi, welcome to the forum.
The only real difference is the over-complicated vacuum and a 16v head - I'm sure both engines have the same Bosch EDC15 ECU?
Is the swirl flap fitted? Maybe the extra 8 valves are in the closed position for some reason - this will explain the loss of power but not the mis-fire. The MAF is different also, so the ECU is probably getting duff or unusual readings from it.
Maybe flash a generic remap onto the DW10 ECU ( I'm no expert so this may go tits up..)
Good luck....

Re: DW10 to DW12
Hi, Thanks for the replies, i got it workin, i changed ecu, immo, fob, and bsi from my donor, everything works the way it should. there is possibility that i made a mistake on connecting turbo selenoid wires.
