Hi. Just changed the radiator on my 406glx estate s-reg. Having problems getting a seal on the bottom hose. bottom hose has also been renewed. Its one those with the steel ring ends (male) that clips into the rad with a u-shaped spring/clip. Seen it described as a Conrad fitting? Have replaced the rubber gasket seal on the pipe but can't get a snug fit. I have the feeling that the hose is slightly too small for the rad?

Is it possible I have miss matched the rad and the hose?

Or any other possibilities you can direct me too?
