Hi guys
I have a 406 hdi. When I start it in the morning, it lacks power. I can floor it and it will very very slowly increase the speed. When the temp. Reaches 90C. It must be when the termostat opens for the first time. The car runs perfectly.
Could it be glowplugs? If not then what?

Maybe the CTS (coolant temperature sensor)?

A dodgy one gives the ECU duff information which in-turn affects the way the car behaves.

Just a suggestion.

sounds like cts, usually very cheap
