Hi all,
Does anyone know if I have to release the fuel pressure before changing the fuel pressure sensor,
The round one held on with two torx screws, pretty sure this is the cause of all my problems

I didn't, I just undid the 2 bolts...
I didn't realise I needed to, no harm done though and only a tiny bit of fuel came out.

Agreed, there's no pressure unless the pump's turning.

I'm not sure but I think it's only at silly pressure when it's running
Doggy you posted that whilst I was typing

I was worrying (probably overly

) about residual pressure, knowing that the system holds enough to really ruin your day if you get it wrong.
Safety, safety, maybe I'm listening to t'wife too much.

Iv'e done several and never even thought about depressurising

. They do cause a lot of problems, I think its primarily because the filter gets blocked and I've not found an effective way of cleaning it. I did find a secondhand one which didn't have a filter and fitted that, never had any more problems.
