Hi, I have had 2 406 2.2hdis - the first had a DPF and cat removed, the second was DPF only.
Absolutely no difference in performance at all, both cars passed MOT no problems with emissions.
I guess if you smash the guts out then it's less to go wrong, but if you chose to keep it, it will have no detrimental affect on performance.

Same here. If you do lots of urban stop-go stuff there may be some benefit in removing the cat, but otherwise I'd leave it in.

After speaking to exhaust workshop i decided to empty the cat as well at the same go when removing the DPF contents.
as to have lees that can go wrong and less restriction for the turbo as i might get lucky to also remap the ecu with higher output power.

Gutting the cat as well as the D.P.F allows the turbo to spool up quicker!
Turbo's like the least amount of resistance (resistance is futile) :supafrisk:
A 2.5 inch turbo back exhuast helps even more :cheesy:

Hello Everyone, thanks for the Add.

In particulary I would like to contact Doggy, and ask him friendly if he could send me too the File for a 406 2.2 HDi no F.a.p.

This would be really kind.

I have the same Problem as You Guys with a 2.2 HDI 406 Break.

Thanks in advance for the Help and your Attention

Cheers
Robert
