Top engine mount

I get a noise when taking up drive and have some movement on the top engine mount torque link on more family's trusty 1998 2lt petrol estate (280000 miles and still going strong) and all the straps on eBay are different - square rather than the round bar with a fork end and with the bushes are pressed in that I've got. I found a message that related to a design changes but I can't find it again.
Any idea what sizes the bushes are as the local agent thinks every car before 2000 should be consigned to the scrappers and are like unicorn poo at the scrappers.

I have only had experience with diesel ones, on those its usually the big rubber void bush that breaks up, you can often see the cracks, don't know if its the same type as the petrol ones.

Hi
Found the beasty. (I think)
How many mounts are there anyway? Would anybody have a parts list or a service illustration? There seem to be at least 8 variants. XU10J2TE
Thanks
