Hi folks!
Only one part is missing from my complete timing tool kit for EW12J4: part number is 0189C. This is for flywheel lock.
I would like to ask for dimensions of this part if anyone has that.
I was considering to buy it from store - but the full kit is €200+, and if I need only this one still €50 - so none of them are feasible.

Can't help with the dimensions but a complete kit including this part is available on ebay for £29.99

'wrong end' of an 8mm (I think) drill works fine....

2.2i (ew12j4 engine quite a rare, I am suffering every time when special tool is needed. 
On the other I need only the dimensions & 20 min and it's going to be done with turning.
Doggy: yes, the other side of the crankshaft is 8 mm - Haynes manual mentioned that. Thanks!

Last time I did mine, I found there was a small gap between the lower bellhousing cover plate and the block casting, through which you could see a section of the flywheel as you turned the engine. (Car on ramps, lying under the sump, turning crank pulley bolt with a ratchet).
I could see the timing hole passing this opening a few degrees before it aligned the timing hole in the block, apply gentle pressure to your locking pin while slowly rotating the engine and it slips into place.
