I got one a few years ago, 50 quid from a UK Breakers.

Just for your info, LHD are different than RHD Servo's

Hi, did pugestate get a servo for his car, as I need one and cannot find one. Can you get a repair kit probably off a LHD to fix a RHD servo??

Tried all trade outlets including Peugeot main dealers, been on breakers search sites, trawled ebay, nothing so looks like car will be scrapped, low milage 110k miles, will hang on to car for a fortnight if nought turns up will break it.

I also managed to source a new one about 5 years ago for around £80 but much can happen in 5 years....

I'm not a Facebook user, but when I was there are a few people there on various pages that break 406s.

Two names that spring to mind are Nigel Dawson and Freddie Gregory - both chaps are recommended.

It'll be a pity to scrap a decent 406 :(

Maybe a bit off-topic, but which facebook message are you referring to?

I seem to be finding only the original topic message, dated 8-th August, without any reply? Is it my facebook settings which are wrong?

Would a repair kit like this be an option?

If I remember correctly, you just search for '406' and some group suggestions pop up.
406 owners
406 parts
Peugeot parts
Etc etc.

You shouldn't have a problem joining, maybe Paul (DDD) could invite you if you are having difficulty.

Hope you get it sorted.

I think i found the issue: seems i was looking in the wrong place.

I had clicked on the "Peugeot 406 Owners Club" (marked red in the picture below) which is apparantly not a FB "group" (although it does contain some of the messages).

Above, marked green in the picture, there is a real "group" with a "+Join" button that I now have clicked. When I open the group page it says my membership is "Pending" which I trust will be all fine.

Thanks! Feeling like a total fool
