Hey everyone. My 1.8L 406 ( petrol automatic 2003 ) has the SIEMENS S118047804 D transmission control module (AL4 gearbox). I searched the web and found modules with the same code(S118047804) but with a different letter (C/D/A), or with a different code altogether, but they are all stating to be compatible with the 406. So what is the different between them? What do the letters mean? And if I were to change it and couldn't find one with the same code, how do I know what module with which code to put in my car?

Hello. I'm afraid we don't have many autos on here and the usual response is to run for the hills... I've had a look about but none of the codes seem to mean anything, apart from the TA2000 which might mean the gearbox type.
