Hello everyone,
I think that my turbo in Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 2001. is at the and of it's life, so I am interested in maybe getting a better turbo.
So are Turbo from 2.0 HDi and 2.2 HDi same or from 2.2 is stronger and do I need to do any other upgrade for turbo from 2.2?
Thank you
Turbo replacement

Re: Turbo replacement
The 2.2 has a variable geometry, or more correctly variable nozzle turbo which your current engine management system has no facilities to control. I think you would be better off replacing it with a good second-hand unit, (they're normally very reliable).
Why do you think the turbo is failing?
