Xsara 2 110 HDI - Clutch hard to depress. Help

Hi is anyone familar with this car. It shares many parts with the 406?

The clutch is not slipping but it is hard. Anyone have any idea of how to troubleshoot. The clutch was replaces around 30k miles ago with LUK.

Has it got hard progressively or suddenly? Is the 'hardness' the same all the way down?
