Hi,
Sorry if this information is already listed somewhere, I have searched and can't find it...
I have a T reg 406 GLX with the 1998cc engine, first registered in March 1999.
Can I use E10 petrol or should I use E5?
The .gov website says:
Peugeot
All cars with petrol engines are E10 compatible since 1st January 2000. Older petrol models should continue to use E5.
But I thought the engine in my car was the newer of the 2L engines, and didn't change on 1st January 2000?
E5 is pricey!
Thanks,
morch

Re: E5 or E10 Petrol
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else with the 1998cc engine has had any problems using E10?
Thanks,

Re: E5 or E10 Petrol
Don't have one myself, but can't imagine anyone with a 2.0 petrol not using E10, given how expensive E5 is.
