Has anyone on here actually not got a list and can call their '6 'finished'?

It just seems it never happens, there always being some modification we want, or part we need to replace.

oh, and a re-map.
oh, and the knocking rear end.
oh, and the rear calipers.

Nowhere near as bad as you lot (helps having a D8 I guess :p)

Some weird whistling noise at 2600-700 rpm from the engine (see another thread)
Trim on the driver side window coming off
Rear tyres are crap and slide all over the roundabouts when wet (alloys next I think!)
Handbrake doesn't really work (I dare anyone to demonstrate a working one on a 406)

But nothing major... Just serviced it myself last Saturday with an oil change and various filters and seems to be OK (touch wood)

In an ideal world i would like this to happen -

My insurance will ring up and i will get this little not fixed

Wing
Plastic inner wheel arch
Front bumper

Then my boss will give me a big pay rise so i could do this -

Get the aircon sorted
New outside tempreture sensor
Put in a new cd autochanger

But knowing my luck nowt will get done

- sort the engine rattle/knock/vibration at idle (hope this isn't the DMF)
- stop the radio making crackling/pop/bang noises (bad connection on the rear, its just how to make it good ?!?!?)
- touch up the stone chips

quite happy with that list appart from the first thing!

Heres whats on the todo list of my pug. Highest priority first:

Fix Clutch
Fix leaking oil sump (change oild and oild filter too)
Hit Kwik fit fitters over head with outsized monkey wrench till they sort my rattling exhaust (2 months old)
Sort out the vibration from the engine mount (getting annoying now)
Replace link rods on rear suspension
Replace all rubber bushes on rear suspension

All fairly mundane things, bar the clutch. Just NO cash to do any of em.
