hi
under the cover lies the coils, there are three 8 mm bolts holding them, under them lives the spark plugs
there are only 2 types recommended by peugeot
EYQUEM: RFN52 HZ
Bocsh: FR 8 ME
other manufacturers like Beru, Denso have equivellant numbers.
But I believe you should stick to bosch

I have had problems with Bosch's in the past so have been put off to be honest. I have always liked Denso's.

denso are too expensive and are best left on jap crap
ngk's are the best for pugs, if you went to pug for plugs you would either get eyquem if your really unlucky, bosch if your lucky, or proper ngk's if the parts man likes you

The only plugs I could get for the HPi were dealer supplied Bosch ones at £47 a set

Cheek!

Actually maybe you can help me here, cold engine, accelerating from low revs with a light throttle I feel a bit of hesitation, dunno if it's a misfire or something else. Doesn't do it when the engine's warm, doesn't do it when you give it full throttle. Any ideas? :?

are you one or two year servicing intervals?

2 years or 20000 miles, and in my defense she's prolly only done about 12000 since the last one, but I am aware that it's good practice to do "in-between" servicing.

yeah, i think an oil change is called for, take it for a 30 min motorway blast to get the old oil red hot then drain it, and use castrol edge 0w40
or mobil one 5w40
