hi all, i have an annoying starting problem with my pug

when the weather is warm i put my key in enter the code turn the key and it starts and won't idle or rev properly.

i have to turn engine off turn ig. off and remove key wait for imobilizer to to kick in then start the car again.

i could do this process about 3 times before it will run properly

has anyone got any ideas???
would be welcomed

btw cold starting not a problem...

thats not an immobiliser problem, if it was it would out right refuse to start, it could be a sticky cam follower, duff injector or coolant sensor

what engine is it? could be a sticky fuel cut off solenoid on a TD or a sticky ICV that corrects on second restart
