Panic over guys ... the prob was have got a leak in the A/C high pressure pipe
and when i followed the pipe back to the bulkhead it passes under the servo and i noticed a large patch
of rust that looked as if it was nearly through the metal... closer inspection revealed the metal ts ok just
paint coming off...but thanks for quick reply's :D :D james the pipe that is leaking is the hp one that
goes to the bulkhead you any idea how much work would be involved for a mechanic to replace it

had a quote of the local stealers ... to replace the 2 pipes... they are classed as one item
and they go from the front under the battery tray under the servo along the bulkhead ...and recharge the system
£293 and that includes vat... i know the cost of the pipes is £58 and they charge £65 for a recharge so for once
it doesn't seem too over the top so going to let them do it :D
