Im really toying with the idea of getting rid the 2.1DT in favour of a Exec turbo, just wanted to know what can be done to the 8 valve turbo to make it a little more interesting? what kind of intercoolers do they have. I have a reasonably sized HKS intercooler wanting a home
I will end up breaking the 2.1 for spare bits as its done 180K hard miles now and is starting to make noises I hear it shares the gearbox with the 8 valve turbo?
Anyway any tuning info glady apriceated.

The exec turbo doesn't need fiddling to be 'interesting' - it's got an awesome engine!
