Yes, mine's a 90 and I can recommend Jamie at Shires Performance Tuning (http://www.sp-tuning.co.uk). He comes to you; however, you may have to wait a week or 2 until he has a few in your part of the country. His prices are also very reasonable and he's a nice guy!

The changes should transform your 90 and make it a better drive than a 110. I was especially impressed with the improvement in low-down torque. And, as long as you don't change your style of driving, you should get better fuel consumption. Jamie says that the remap has been designed to increase the torque and power while maintaining reliability.

Hi alan... have heard it mentioned on here that the 90 is a little bit down
compared to the 110... as regards a re map had mine done recently

really nice guy ... i went to his home to have it done but he will come and do it
at your address for a little extra (think it cost 190 and would have been 20 more
if he had come to me)the day he did mine he had just come back from south
wales and the day after he was of to blackpool so he does get about...mine's
a 110 and was it worth it??? drove home with a big grin :cheesy: hope this

90HDi tune

Performance Torque in Wolverhampton tuned my 90HDi, it's now a 125HDi and drives fantastically. It's not edgy or anything like that, it just pulls strongly from 1700rpm right up to red line. There is no smoke, it uses less fuel and the engine is much smoother. If I had another 90 or a 110HDi I would take it straight there. The best couple of hundred quid and 40mins wait I have ever experienced - check him out, he really knows his stuff.

I would say get it superchipped thats what mine is look on there website superchips.co.uk. Ok it may cost alot more but like most things in life you get what you pay for. Its down to personnal choice though. I would stay clear of tunning boxes as its a bodge when all said and done to confuse your computer. A proper remap is just that a new map for the fuel air is put onto the cars ecu. :cheesy:

Rappy, have you had you boost increased?

As far as im aware the boost is increased at a safe level to prolong engine and turbo life whatever that is. Sorry but no boost gauge im afraid so not sure what its running on. But as most people forget which i keep reminding them a 110 hdi is not a 90 hdi its totally a different animal For starters it has an intercooler. And a 3 stage boost unlike a 90 with a single stage and also a fifth injector so you get overboost on the turbo. So what ever bhp increase you get there will be an extra 10% more power on top hence why mine is 150 bhp. Looking on my rolling road report mine has increase 0f 43bhp and increase of 75 nm. So in real terms its 153bhp to be exact and has 322nm of torque now. 0 to 60 is around 8 secs and tops 130 mph. not bad for a standard looking car in every way untill you drive it   Dont get me wrong some of the subtle mods i love but the look on peoples face when a standard 406 glx with a tow bar on the back blows them away is priceless thats why i never have changed it. :cheesy:

nooooooo there is no overboost on the HDi 110 or fith injector
its just got a basic boost controller with air mass meter, nothing special

Really that is what i was told and lead to believe. If you look at the citroen picasso's not sure what year they decided to fit them with a 110 hdi and mentioned they had an overboost. All the info i was told was from a peugeot mechanic so i would of thought he would know his stuff. Also when it was rolling roaded they mentioned it had the overboost to now im confused :? Either way it still flys. How do you know so much about pugs James? Can you sort my suspension/knocking noise?

the citroen picasso HDi 110 is the 1.6 16v unit that has overboost, its very often confused with the early 2.0 engine that was very basic in terms of engine management but very ahead of its time in terms of emissions control
i dont know that much about pugs, just more than the average pug lover thanks to my dad who is a pug master tech and was recentley rated as one of the top 10 in the country, though peugeot arent allowed to disclose who is the best unfortunatley

I see. So its not a common mistake i have made then. Can you ask your dad about the knocking noise i have in another post please and see what your dad thinks that is regards rappy.

going by your mileage i would say engine mountings, the top and bottom one are quite weak and do the most work
could also be a shock absorber mounting thats torn, though you will have to remove the shock to see if its that
