You may or may not remember that i have had an on going problem with loss of power and holding back, took car to numerous so called bosch agents, who replaced mass meter, solenoid valves, temp sensor, which needless to say cost me £200 and still never sorted.

So.. took the car to pooles peugeot fareham, dropped it in at 9.00, phone call by 10.00 saying we have found the problem, your air-mass meter has no signal, cause a broken wire in the engine harness, seems it is quite common and they new exactly where the broken wire would be... in the bend under the fuel filter. Needless to say they repaired it and after parting with £150 i drove away and my pug now flys again like it did 15000 miles ago.

lesson learnt, sometimes main dealers do give good service and save you money as i did not really need the items the other garage replaced!!!.

The bosch agents want there bottoms smacking. They should have seen that by plugging into the OBD port and analysing the live data. Idiots.

Glad you've got it sorted.

they will most likely have had a crappy bosch scanner which can only read the P codes which will give them the wrong fault codes to diagnose this problem, i did mention before about this being a wiring fault in one of your other posts
