posted yesterdsay but seems to have disappeared, so here goes again:
clutch on my 130k hdi 90 was noted 2 years ago as "nearing the end of its life" by one garage.
Subsequently, it has done 18,000 miles and still seems ok when I picked it up a couple of days ago!

Any views on average clutch life for this model, allowing "normal use"? I realise mine is the non-DMF version, I think.

thanks

My 110 (DMF) made it to just sort of a 150k before I had to have the flywheel and clutch done. I think most of the problem was DMF and not the wear on the clutch.

As 90 is solid flywheel it probably do 200K+, its really dependent on the type and type of driving its been exposed to. You just have to wait and see if/when it starts slipping, then be glad its not a 110 so it'll only need clutch kit.

My DMF and clutch are still hanging in there at 115000 miles and my car was used for some kind of international Caravan towing competitions for a few years

My Clutch on 110bhp went at 132k, DMF was ok, so not replaced.

My clutch never slipped, it was just high, very high bite.
