What engine Rob?

hey guys i am having a really serious problem with my 406 turbo engine, the car is starting and idling fine, but after about 20 secs it shuts off completely. However it would start back right away, sometimes.

aprt form this i tried running a scan, but the system refuses to register a reading, tell me what can i do!

hi just bought a 406 estate glx 2.0 petrol and got a running problem sometimes it runs perfect then it feels like it drops to 2 cylinders runs lumpy then picks up again but when you stop the car and turn off then restart later it starts lumpy and stays like it ive had th eplugs out cleaned up and the injectors the two middle ones when unplugged had no effect on the engine the other two made it cut out do you think it will be injectors not working or the faults you have shown on here wich i am yet to try please help with this i want to get driving the car its a 1997 year r reg any help thanks

Might be the coil pack or the map sensor; start another thread and you'll get more responses!
I'm locking this one now as it was intended as a How-to article :)
