Accidentally Pouring Brake Fluid into Power Steering Fluid

This morning i accidentally poured 'some' amount of Brake Fluid into the Power Steering Oil box.
i did it because my power steering is leaking oil, so i have to frequently check the level.

this morning i picked the wrong bottle, because they're both the same color. :?

Is it 'ok'? will i get some trouble with this?

I wouldn't be worried about that kenny, what does the handbook say about the differences between the grades?

It's not ideal but it should mix with the power steering oil and shouldn't cause too much trouble.

If I did that though it would force me into doing a power steering fluid change. Easy job but something we're all guilty of neglecting I believe.

no recommended time really, just when it gets to the stage when its turned black rather than red, i would flush the system throughly if its contaminated, as BF is too thin for ATF and certainly wont mix

I'd change it often - Changing the fluid is alot cheaper than changing the pump due to lack of maintenance!
