Brake Problem??

Got a bit of a brake problem atm, sometimes when I press the brake it sometimes feels like the ABS is kicking in even tho I aint heavy braking, feel a bit of vibration thru the pedal. I have to really stamp on the brakes to stop otherwise they wont work. Brake pads are fine, only renewed a few mths ago, and discs appear ok aswell.

Sounds like one of the ABS wheel sensors thinks a wheel is locking up and is activating the ABS pump.

The wheel sensors will need removing and inspecting/cleaning I would say.

How do you know that your glued-on sensor gear hasn't fallen off????

What glued on sensor? The ABS Ring is sound.

could be a warped brake disc, only way to check is with a DTi gauge

Faulty ABS Sensor we think, so gonna pull the ABS fuse until I can get it fixed next week.
