well managed to buy a brand spanker RAD today for 70 quid (local dealer)

got the rad home - all ready to put in dropped it in the top and then the bottom hose wouldnt fit in - the actual teeth were the pins click into place have become corroded (spelling) - so looks like new bottom hoses - but just wondering what the dam things are called as they connect up to the coolant holder then off to the engine i think - get this replaced and im all sorted - just gonna feel like a numb nut and get the wrong hose


any ideas dudes?

stupid me - the thing is called a bottom hose - doh!!

but need a top hose and a bottom hose now due to the were and tear

quoted 47.99+vat for bottom hose and a tenner for a top hose

got somebody to fit it saturday so with any luck ill be back out on the road by saturday night

just wondering is this bottom hose a pain to fit or is it pretty easy ??

please note - i tried in vain to get a 2nd user bottom hose - but couldnt get one anywere - most people when cutting a car up just cut straight through the bottom hose to get the rad out -
