is it possible to clean a turbo??

just something that popped into my head. you can get all these injector cleaners etc...
can you get anything for the turbo?? the clean / maintain it etc

In all seriousness, just keep the oil fresh - change it when you're supposed to, dont nail the car from cold and when you have finnished driving, let the car idle for a minute or two to prevent oil starvation.

The turbo has a large amount of oil pumped through it, hence the best way to 'clean' it is to have regular oil (and filter) changes. Regular air filter changes might help to stop debris entering the air-side, and never use a "performance" air filter!!!

why not use a preformance air filter i got a ram air 1 on my 306 d turbo and a pipercross on my sri turbo

change yor oil every 2-3k miles.... no excuses lol

Because they increase airflow at the cost of letting more crap through into the engine
