I know my head gasket could of gone but it could be steam making it yellow and i know my oil has no water inside. And theres no start i cant start my engine. Well fresh oil is kinda yellowy, so it might not be anything to worry about. Just realised you were of course talking about your old filter. Duh. Such an idiot.

When you say it won't start, what do you mean? Does it not turn over? Does it turn over but not fire?

You've got water in the oil  Head gasket?
You say it won't start; does the engine turn over?

It could be water in the petrol but that would be top end? Only way to tell would be a total drain & refill, just hoping that a conrod hasn't been bent
Try taking out the spark plugs & turn the engine over just in case there is water in one of the bores :?

Do you have access to a compression tester?

Did your coolant level drop?

What did the oil that came out of the sump look like?

I'm not sure how much water an injector can actually spray into the cylinder and how quickly it could make its' way into the crankcase but I think it might be an idea to stop trying to start it anyway, until you have a better idea what's going on.

I'm still not sure about the yellow stuff in the filter, sounds very strange. Running on three is worrying though, try not to run it much or you'll kill your cat! Black smoke says it's running very rich too.

Yes to the mechanic. Good luck!

Hi guys am in a mess don't no what to do lol. Right 1st thing is i booked in a mechanic to come and see my car on Saturday and i checked my water and oil stick they looked fine and no strange colors but that coffee color inside my oil filter is nothing i should worry about "i Think" cause i see that in loads of cars when the oil filter steams up is makes that color some times. I think is something to do with my Fuel :?:

I'm not sure, condensation used to end up under the filler cap on my old cars but maybe these newer lumps have their own variation.

See what the mechanic says, maybe you did pick up some duff fuel. If you happen to have kept the reciept you might even be able to sue the buggers!
