Hi, can anyone tell me what the MAF sensor readings should be around about (ideally in lb/min) if all is OK on a 2.2Hdi engine or even a 2.0 to give me a ball park idea? Ideally at idle and about 2000 revs / 3000 revs.
Does anyone also know whether these are higher than normal or lower when there is a problem, I am struggling to find this info even with the wonders of google.
Should probably mention my readings are about 0.9 lb/min at idle and around 4 lb /min at 2000 revs.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: hdi MAF Sensor Readings
Hi,
Not sure what they *should* be but I have a 110 Hdi and my live-data readings are:
8 g/second @ idle speed / no load (approx 1.06 lb/min)
110 g/second @ 4000rpm / no load (approx 14.5 lb/min)
I'd be interested to find out the expected range of values for these engines. I read somewhere that peak airflow in g/s should be roughly 0.8 times your peak power in horsepower. No idea if this rule of thumb can be applied to the hdi engine.
Does anyone have the correct expected values?
