the D9 is dead...

Post by jameslxdt »

yep you guessed it, its already given up on me, i was out driving following one of my friends, and i noticed the power was becomming less and less and till there was absolutley nothing, i coasted to a stop and a quick peek under the bonnet revealed the accelerator cable had snapped
i had no tools with me whatsover so i resorted to using the bandage from my first aid kit to join the cable back together  , i made it back home where its stuck now
so ill get a cable on order tommorow, im just dreading fitting the thing

So that is what the first aid kit is for :D :D :D

Nice one!
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

Thought you said you aaaaalways drive around with half the sealey catalogue in your boot? :P
so i resorted to using the bandage from my first aid kit to join the cable back together
Impressive. How on earth did you manage that though? A bandage to fix a broken cable? *confused*

Such a tragic waste. Aspiring to a D9, yet mocking those more fortunate to own one, all in an attempt to conceal one's desire for a superior machine whilst using self-justification in an attempt to devalue others. [/psychiatrist]
