fuel additive for 2.1

What fuel additives are good for the 2.1 diesel? I just had a mot test and it failed the black smoke test.

Any good motor factor sells a variety of potions-some work better in different engines to others.
I use 'diesel clean' myself,you could always complain to that big place down the road from you

just take it for a hard, and i mean hard, drive. no need to waste money on additives. will clean it out a treat.

Before every MoT when I had my 2.1TD, I used to put "Forte" diesel additive. You can get it in Peugeot. It's not cheap (about £18), but it's excellent. The smoke on mine disappeared and it instantly felt smoother. It's brilliant stuff, worth the money.
I tried other stuff like redex and it didn't touch the car.
