Hi All,
My D8 1.8 have never gone through any suspension repair until I've put my hands onto it.. I bought it last November and last month I decided to do a complete job on underneath, coz the ride was uncomfy and bumpy and some noises. So went ahead and replaced all 4 shock absorbers with gas shocks and all links front are rear , ball joints, steering rack ends and rack end arms all that. It has been a month and now it start being rough on bumpy roads here in Sri Lanka. no noises at all but the car jerks a lot when running through pot holes and wrinkled tar roads. any where specifically should I look into ? and I feel something wrong with the anti-roll bars.. coz car jerks a lot.. but can't say for sure.. any suggestions where to look into? any help is really appreciated

Errr, if it took a month to show up, I'd reckon either you picked a duff part up or something's come undone. Bounce the corners (do the shocks all feel the same?) and have a grovel about with your spanners. If the geometry's changed it might make for a very twitchy ride...

My 406 hdi s is a bit hard as well. Do these have the same struts as other 406 models?
